Error "Failed to mount /firmware (Invalid Argument)" in TWRP (FIX)

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for bricked devices, Fire, Exploding, etc. YOU are choosing to make these modifications. Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device.

Why this happens to our device?

This happens mostly because of the upgradation of your MODEM through recovery. Most of the users try to add VoLTE or try to flash unsupported MODEM through recovery, So, users get these type of errors. But your problem may or may not be the same as you could have some other reason.

To fix this error you may need to follow these steps:

Requirements: a PC and of course your android device with this error in its recovery. That’s all we need.

Step 1: First, we will need to download “Fastboot signed” rom zip of your particular android device (Stock) (For that, you may need to search on google for your "Fastboot signed" ROM. For ex: fastboot signed rom for Micromax Yuphoria.), and then unzip it.

Step 2: Download and install Minimal ADB and Fastboot (Software) for your PC by going to this link and by scrolling down to middle and clicking Download.

Step 3: Now, if you can find a flash-all.bat, you are lucky and don’t need to do this step. If you can’t find it you may have to make it by reading an article on How to make Flash-all.bat for your particular device ROM or flash your stock ROM via flash tool provided.

Step 4: Now, click on Flash-all.bat. It may take 1 min to 30 min to flash your ROM depending on your computer and your data cable.

Step 5: Enjoy your fixed phone and flash your earlier ROM through your recovery.
